Onder de Kap: De technologie ontleden
A high puff count is meaningless without the technology to back it up. The Platinum Bar’s performance hinges on a synergy between its battery, coil, and formulation. Our analysis focuses on these core components to verify the device’s claims of consistency and quality.
The Powerhouse: 600mAh Oplaadbare Batterij & USB-C
Based on our tests, a full charge from empty took approximately 45-55 minutes. This feature ensures that you can utilize every last drop of the 18ml of fill, preventing the frustrating scenario where the battery dies before the fill is depleted—a common issue with earlier disposable models. This makes the device more sustainable and cost-effective.
The Engine of Taste: 1.2 Ohm Quantum Mesh Coil
- Gelijkmatige Verwarming: The expanded surface area distributes heat more evenly across the wick, preventing “hot spots” that can cause burnt hits and degrade taste.
- Taste Purity: By vaporizing the fill more efficiently and at a consistent temperature, the mesh coil delivers a richer, cleaner, and more consistent taste from the first puff to the 15,000th.
Inzicht in spoeltechnologie: Mesh versus Traditionele Draad
To truly appreciate the performance of the Platinum Bar, it helps to understand the core difference in coil types. A vape coil is the heating element that turns fill into vapor. For years, the standard was a simple wire wrapped around a cotton wick. While effective, it had limitations in heat distribution. Mesh coil technology, now integrated into premium disposables, uses a perforated metal sheet. This design offers a larger heating surface, which results in more efficient vaporization, significantly improving taste consistency and vapor density.
Onze Praktische Test & Prestatiebeoordeling
To provide a genuine assessment, we subjected the Platinum Bar to a multi-day testing process, focusing on puff count longevity, taste consistency, and overall user experience. Our methodology involved regular usage patterns by two different testers—one moderate vaper and one heavy vaper.
Puff Telt Realiteitscheck
Taste profiles Explored: A Taste Test
Taste is subjective, but quality is not. We tested three popular tastes from the extensive lineup to assess their authenticity and consistency.
| Taste profile | Beschrijving & Onze Opmerkingen | Consistentie Score (1-5) |
|---|---|---|
| Blauw Razzijs ijs | A vibrant blend of sweet blue raspberry with a distinct cool menthol finish. The taste remained bright and balanced, without becoming muted over time. The “ice” element is crisp but not overpowering. | 4.8 |
| Watermeloenijs | Captures the refreshing taste of juicy watermelon, complemented by a subtle cooling sensation. The taste profile is authentic, avoiding the artificial, candy-like taste found in some alternatives. | 4.7 |
| Kiwi Passievrucht Guava | A complex tropical medley. The tangy kiwi, sweet passionfruit, and smooth guava notes are all discernible. The taste held its complexity well, a testament to the quality of the fill and the efficiency of the mesh coil. | 4.6 |
Note: Taste scores are based on our internal testing and subjective assessment of taste consistency over the device’s lifespan.

Naleving van TPD- en TRPR-regelgeving
For sale within the UK and EU, vaping products must comply with the EU vaping regulations (TPD) and its UK counterpart, the TRPR. These regulations impose strict rules designed to protect consumers, including:
- Maximale dampsterkte: fill is capped at 20mg/mL (2%) vape strength.

This product is intended only for existing adult smokers and vapers as a means to move away from combustible cigarettes. Non-smokers and individuals under the legal smoking age should not vape.
